Jennifer by Dee Henderson is a novella that is about a doctor that works in a pediatric clinic. She takes care of children like each one is special and she feels their pain when they are in pain. She remembers who each kid is even though she has over 100 patients. In the first part of the novella, Jennifer meets a handsome surgeon named Tom Peterson. They immediately hit it off and Tom is persistent at wanting to see her more often. Tom tells Jennifer how God loves her and that she needs to get to know God. They begin to get very close and then Jennifer gets some bad news.

I liked reading this novella. It was short, sweet, and to the point. Sometimes books take forever to get started into the story, but this book just jumped right in to the action! There was a romance in this book, but it wasn’t too mushy. I would have to give this book a 4.5 out of 5. There was just a little something missing, but I just can’t figure out what it is.

I received this book from Net Galley in exchange for my honest review.
