Today is December 7th, 2011. Today is also the day that Pearl Harbor was attacked in World War II and although that might seem like it makes this day a day of despair it is not. Today is the day that the Lord has made and I will be happy no matter what. I have a job tonight, i’m healthy, and I have a place to sleep. These are all things to be thankful for.
I have been at Gateway College of Evangelism for almost 3.5 months now. My first semester is coming to end and my last semester here will begin in 4 weeks. I have loved every minute here and I will cherish it for the rest of my life. Some people think that I came here for a certain person and yes it does make it easier with him here. I have to say that it was not him that made me make the decision to come here. He helped influence me to fulfill what God had told me to do, but he was never the reason for me coming. I had wanted to come to Gateway since the chorale came to my church in 2005 when I was just 16. It looked like so much fun and they had such a bond that no one could explain. I definitely could not explain it until I came here and made it into chorale. When you live so close together you become a family and its hard to say goodbye when someone leaves because you are so close. I have made so many friends here and I will never forget this experience. Gateway College of Evangelism is definitely a great find! 🙂
On a more happy note I have begun doing a lot more surveys and trying to find extra ways to make money! I will put a few here in case you want to go to the sites that I love.

If you join from that link I will get to make an extra $.25 for every person that signs up through this link. You can make up to $5 every week on your own with no people, but up to $10 if people join. The way you make money is by watching ads. These ads range anywhere from 15 seconds to 3 minutes and each one has a certain amount that you make. When you have $2 you can get a Jingit VISA card. They send it to you within a week and all you have to do is activate it and then add the funds to your card on the website. I have made almost $21 in a little over a month. I use it for things like snacks on trips or sometimes fast food or groceries. Just depends on how I feel and if I have any other money.

All you have to do is register and then start taking surveys. Most surveys are worth 50-100 points and sometimes there will be amazing surveys worth 300 points or more! Also you could get asked to test a product. These are my favorite part of survey companies (well, besides the money!). Now, if you don’t qualify for a lot of surveys do not get disappointed! Some days you make more than others. Sometimes I will take 20 surveys and not qualify for a one and then some days I will qualify for 2 or 3 so you never know! You just have to try it out. Each 100 points equals $1 and you can cash out when you reach 1000 points which equals $10. I use Paypal to get my payments so it directly goes into my bank account but you can also have checks sent to you if you just want to cash them. I have made $36 with this company since August but I only go on about once a week or less so you could make a lot more.
3. The last for today is Pinecone Research!

This website is one that I absolutely LOVE! Each survey is sent to my email and I make $3 for each survey that I take. The checks come about a week after you take them and I have made almost $40 with this company. However, they don’t open up very often for new members. It never hurts to try something new! 🙂
