This post is going to be a review of a book that I got from the website http://www.booksneeze.com. This website is for bloggers and they let you get books as long as you review it on your blog and on another site. So here goes the book review.
This book is titled God’s Love Letters to You, a 40 day devotional experience by Dr. Larry Crabb. Dr. Larry Crabb does a very good job at taking 40 books of the bible and putting them in a format that is easy to understand and that lets one dive deeper into the word of God. This book was a very good find and I will definitely recommend this book to others. One thing that is hard for one to do is read the Bible. Everyone finds it hard to stay awake when they are reading the Bible. This book allows one to understand some of the concepts that are brought out in the Bible that one doesn’t normally find when they read it in the King James Version. Day Eight is on the book of Ruth which is my favorite book in the Bible. I love hearing about the story of Naomi and Ruth and how she wants to stay with Naomi even though her husband has died and she has nothing left in common with Naomi. Ruth shows how one can overcome having obstacles with love and Dr. Larry Crabb represents this well in his way of telling how one can overcome the obstacles of love. This is what I think of this book by Dr. Larry Crabb and I hope you go read it!
